Housing options

Option #1: This is a small floor duplex five minutes from Dem's building at the university. Two bedrooms with a den/small room. Gorgeous neighborhood. Small, old kitchen.

Option #2: This is a top-floor condo 15 minutes from the university. 3 bedroom 2 bath. 1500 square feet. Near shopping, but close to a relatively busy street. Nice views of the mountains.

Option #3: This is a house in about 15 to 17 minutes from the university. About 1400-1500 square feet. Two car garage. Small kitchen. No dining room. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Cheapest of the three options, by about $200.

If it were me, I would choose the house. I am sick of living so close to crazies in my apartment building. Plus, you get a yard and could keep your car in the garage when the weather is bad.

My vote is for #2.

I would go with the house! We loved renting a house! Good luck!

The only problem is that none of these choices are houses. The one "house" is actually a tri-plex.

Wow, I like them all.
Where are they in relation to Mr. E's child care? If I could have my own house I would. J is about a 10-15 min drive from school in TX, and yet it doesn't seem to take much longer getting home (in our minds) than when we lived 5 blocks away......
