This morning we frequented the downtown farmers' market and happened upon some pig statues. Elliot was taken with them and decided to strike a few poses.

Rome Temple Update - Construction Underway
I just received this email regarding Rome temple construction. Enjoy:
Dear Rome Italy Temple Mailing List subscribers:
On Sunday, July 10, a letter from the Rome Italy Stake Presidency was read in area sacrament meetings announcing that construction of the temple had officially begun. Since the formal groundbreaking in October, activity at the temple site has been limited to site activities including clearing, grading, transplanting, erection of a construction fence, and placement of construction trailers.
As construction progresses, the submission of regular photographs is highly appreciated by members worldwide who wish to witness the construction of this beautiful temple in historic Rome.

Morning at the Market
Yesterday Dem and I went to the market. Dem bought a tablecloth she'd been eyeing for some weeks. I bought the raw materials for lunch. Novafeltria is a beautiful little town, and the market is cute as a button.

Cenerentola
A few days ago, Dem performed Cenerentola (Cinderella) in Novafeltria, Italy. She was beautiful and sang wonderfully, even though the teatro sociale was blazing hot. It was a real treat to see her. So, without further ado, here's some photos.

Surprise
So, I arrived in Italy yesterday to wach Dem perform Cinderella in Rossini's "Cinderella." This came as a shock to Dem since I lied to her for a while and told her I couldn't come. Needless to say, she was rather surprised when I showed just as she finished a rehearsal. It's nice to be together again.
